Universitat Jaume I (UJI)

Jaume I University is a public university in the north of the Valencian Community (Spain), a territory on the European Mediterranean coast located between the cities of Valencia and Barcelona, and closely connected to Madrid. 

 

Created in 1991, UJI has positioned itself as a young university whose mission is to advance knowledge by developing quality research that reaches society and is capable of attracting research talent and external funding. Since its foundation, Jaume I University has demonstrated a reputation for seriousness and scientific relevance that has led it to be placed in the 601-700 bracket among the best universities in the world according to the 2022 Shanghai ranking and in the selective group of 200 best young universities in the world according to the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Ranking 2022. On the other hand, the Science, Technology and Business Park of the Universitat Jaume I constitutes a unique environment that allows interaction between companies and research groups, promoting programs in the field of knowledge transfer, innovation and entrepreneurship.

 

Nearly 10% of our postgraduate students are foreigners, and in the last year we received more than 300 foreign students in exchange programs. We have academic links with more than 300 universities in the world, alumni and ambassadors in more than 60 countries, and an ambitious internationalization plan for the coming years.
